Shelly's Parve Holiday Kugel Recipe



12-16 oz flat noodles (Any width you like)

5 Eggs

2 teas Vanilla

20 oz can crushed pineapple drained

1 cup Sugar

1/2 cup margarine or butter melted 

       (parve-Country Crock or Fleischmans unsalted)

20 oz pie filling (Apple, Cherry, Blueberry, Strawberry, etc)


Beat eggs, sugar, vanilla, and melted margarine.  Add drained noodles and then the pineapple.  Pour 1/2 the mixture into a greased 9X13 or larger if using 16 oz of noodles.  Spread the pie filling and cover with the rest of the noodles evenly.


Crumble Topping (Optional):

1 cup crushed Corn Flakes

2 teas cinnamon or to taste

2 teas sugar or to taste

1/4 cup melted margarine or butter (optional) See notes above for parve.


Mix together and sprinkle on top of the koogle.


Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.
